江泽民总书记“七一”重要讲话是全面加强党的建设的伟大纲领,是建设有中国特色社会主义的行动指南,是实现中华民族伟大复兴的强大思想武器。学习领会讲话的重要思想,目的在于认真实践,搞好落实。这要靠各级党的组织、领导干部、共产党员的共同努力,当然也包括我们离退休老同志、老党员。老同志具有党性强、经验多、见识广的优势,但从另一方面讲也有不足的地方,离退休老同志集体活动少,很少有组织和群众的及时监督,这就需要自觉地时时想到自己是个共产党员,做到自重、自省、自励,遵纪守法,严格要求自己。
