奉贤县委、县政府十分重视农村医疗保健制度的建设,1991年针对部分村办合作医疗制度相继解体的情况,及时下达文件,提出了加快农村医疗保健制度步伐,以乡为单位实行“农工统筹”合作医疗保健制度,即将乡、村企业在计税工资总额中提取的福利费,其中直接发给职工的医药费,全部划入乡镇合作医疗,实行“农工统筹”。从1991年起,有11个乡先后实行“农工统筹”合作医疗保健
The Fengxian County Party Committee and County Government attaches great importance to the construction of the rural health care system. In 1991, in response to the disintegration of some village-run cooperative medical systems, they promptly issued documents, proposed the acceleration of the rural medical care system, and implemented “agricultural and industrial co-ordination” in the township.
