在中共广宁县委的领导下,为了实现农业机械化和水利化,兹县大办地方五小工业,为支援农业夺取农业生产新丰收,做出了较好的成绩。广宁铝厂就是该县在大办水利、实现农田电力灌溉的情况下兴办起来的小铝厂。要兴办水利,发展电力事业,就需要大量的电线。怎么办?他们不是坐等伸手向上要,而是想办法利用本地资源,生产电线。广宁铝厂的广大革命职工,发扬“独立自主”、“自力更生”的革命精神,因地制宜,以该县产出的高硅高岭土作原料,采用酸法加压溶出的工艺,成功地生产出合乎部颁标准的氧化铝、电解铝和铝线,为多快好省地发展我国地方小铝工业提供了经验。采用酸法加压溶出,从高硅高岭土中生产氧化铝,是充分利用各地分散的小铝土矿资原的有效途径之一,现将该厂的生产技术经验介绍如下,供各地参考。
