一、关于《宋代帝后像》自古以来,中国人就对皇帝的相貌比较感兴趣,所以“帝王之相”的观念也深入人心,但是中国历代画史上关于画家绘制帝后像[1]的记载一般较为简略。在唐代,有陈闳为皇帝、列圣绘像的记录,也有阎立德、阎立本兄弟奉召画为唐太宗画御容的说法。到了宋代,宋人肖像画成就主要表现为宫廷写真高手和民间写真画师的活跃,今藏于台北故宫博物院的《宋代帝后像》及藏于美国耶鲁大学
