2008年北京奥运会上,新疆体育健儿在奥运大舞台上展露风采,以1银2铜的战绩实现了新疆体育奥运史上奖牌“零”的突破。由此,翻开新疆体育历史崭新的一页,为新疆体育事业今后的更好更快发展增添了巨大的动力。新疆体育的历史性突破也进一步证明,只有坚持科学发展观,合理规划、科学布局,才能促进新疆体育事业的良性发展,实现新疆体育超常规、跨越式发展的目标。
At the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Xinjiang athletes showed their demeanor on the Olympic stage and achieved a breakthrough of “zero” medal in the history of sports Olympics in Xinjiang with 1 silver, 2 bronze medals. Thus, turning a new page in the history of sports in Xinjiang, sports in Xinjiang in the future better and faster growth has added tremendous momentum. The historic breakthrough of sports in Xinjiang further proves that only by adhering to the scientific concept of development, rational planning and scientific layout can we promote the healthy development of sports in Xinjiang and achieve the goal of ultra-conventional and leap-forward development of sports in Xinjiang.
