千百年来,舞阳这片神奇的土地物华天宝,人杰地灵。骨笛和甲骨契符号从这里出土,将中华文明向前推移到了八千年前;鸿门樊哙、王建统蜀、司马封侯……一代代名人哲士在这里留下了厚重的身影。如今,文明痒序,薪火传承。根植于这片热土的舞阳一高承前继后,勇于开拓,融传统文化和现代文明于一体,历经五十余年,已由初创时的茅屋不足百间、学生一百余人发展到现在占地148亩、拥有54个教学班的河南省示范性普通高中,其间谱写了一曲曲令人奋进的篇章。
