凤冈县第四中学自建校以来,始终把打造英语高效课堂,提高英语教育教学质量作为重要任务来抓,探索中学英语教学的新思路。结合我校“学生英语自学能力的培养策略”课题开展了实验,进行了“五·三”英语特色教学尝试,即英语课前学生三分钟英语值日报告、三分钟英语歌、每三天一篇英语作文、英语课堂教学汉语不超过三分钟、每天三十分钟英语广播,使学生在学中用、用中学、玩中学,注重培养学生的语言交流能力、表达能力、综合运用能力和创新能力。为此,我校还专门开设了每周一节的英语角(Happy Oral English)活动课,为学生提供充分的活动时间和空间。经过两年多的努力,成效明显。“五·三”英语特色教学模式不仅改变了学生被动接受知识的状态,还有效地激发和保持了学生的英语学习兴趣,巩固和强化了学生的英语口语交际能力
