在全国军民高举毛主席的伟大旗帜,贯彻执行华主席抓纲治国的战略决策,深揭狠批“四人帮”的大好形势下,我们根据交通部科研院于一九七七年四月六日至十三日在襄樊市召开的“黑色路面科研课题”会议的要求,安排了这个科研项目。在工作中有重庆分院、襄阳地区公路总段、襄樊市公路段抽调科技人员参加。研究利用国产渣油材料(渣油稠度150～200秒,200～300秒)修筑适应于大交通量(2000～5000辆/昼夜)公路干线需要的黑色路面结构、材料要求及其施工工艺。
