2001年8月2日,山东省济宁市公安局济东分局改制成立。该局自成立以来,充分发挥公安机关职能作用,积极为地方经济建设和发展保驾护航,通过全体公安干警的共同努力,各项工作取得了骄人成绩,为经济建设和发展创造了良好的治安环境。 ——坚决依法打击了“法轮功”非法活动。自去年以来,共立案查处“法轮功”案件17起,查获“法轮功”犯罪嫌疑人59人,挖出传播“法轮功”团伙4个,成员40多人,共打击处理“法轮功”人员53名,收缴了一大批“法轮功”等反动宣传资料。
