英语习语蕴含着本民族丰富的文化色彩被广泛应用于人们的日常交际中,因此正确理解习语及其所附带的文化信息显得尤为重要。本文通过对全日制大一学生的一次试卷调查发现文化因素是理解习语的关键;在此基础上,提出具体的教学措施。
English idioms contain the rich cultural features of our nation and are widely used in people’s daily communication. Therefore, it is particularly important to understand the idioms and their accompanying cultural information correctly. Based on a questionnaire survey of full-time freshmen, we find that cultural factors are the key to understanding idioms. On this basis, we propose specific teaching measures.
