中小型办公自动化局域网(以下简称中小型网)是指占地空间小、网络规模小(比如联网计算机在100台以下)及建网经费较少的计算机局域网络,主要用于实施小范围内的网络通信和网上资源共享。组成中小型网后,我们可以共享文件、打印机、硬盘及扫描仪等办公设备,还可以利用各种网上应用软件实现模拟Internet服务等。建立企业内部局域网将大大节省购买硬件设备的经费(如可以建无盘工作站,节省硬盘、共享打印机及扫描仪等购买费用),实现无纸化办公,并提高办公效率。本文将分2次介绍构建中小型网的8个基本步骤。
