【核心事件】◇2013年11月25日,十二届全国人大常委会第五次会议表决通过了关于修改消费者权益保护法的决定。这是该法颁布近20年来的首次重大修改,于2014年3月15日起施行。◇2014年1月18日,由中国合作贸易企业协会、商务部研究院信用评级与认证中心联合举办的“2014中国企业科学发展大会暨诚信盛典”在北京隆重举行。大会的主题是“诚信——企业发展新动力”。在诚信盛典上,除了主题演讲、互动交流,还举行了2013中国企业信用100强、中国制造业企业信用100强和中国服务业企业信用100强发布活动,表彰了2013年度诚信企业和企业
【Key Events】 ◇ On November 25, 2013, the 5th Session of the 12th NPC Standing Committee passed the decision on amending the Consumer Protection Law. This is the first major revision of the law promulgated in the past 20 years and will come into force on March 15, 2014. ◇ On January 18, 2014, “2014 China Enterprise Scientific Development Conference & Integrity Ceremony” jointly organized by China Association of Cooperative Trading Enterprises and Credit Rating and Certification Center of Research Institute of Ministry of Commerce was held in Beijing. The theme of the conference is “Honesty - New Impetus for Enterprise Development”. In addition to the keynote speech and interaction, in the celebration of honesty, the 2013 China Top 100 Credit Enterprises, Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises in China and Top 100 Credit Enterprises in China’s Service Industry were held in recognition of the 2013 Integrity Enterprises and Enterprises
