美国内战初期北方失利的原因从军事角度来考察 ,主要有 :北方以有限战争对抗南方的无限战争 ;北军指挥官的军事素质低下 ;北军外线出击 ;与内战的战争特征有关。
The reasons for the defeat of the North in the early years of the American Civil War were examined from the military point of view. They mainly included: the infinite war in the north against a limited war; the poor military quality of commanders in the north; the attack on the outside of the northern army; and the war characteristics of the civil war.
