超声振动切削工业用特软材料,即使用细晶粒的硬质合金刀片,不加切削液时,刀具寿命提高的程度并不显著。为此,本文介绍了采用加切削液的湿式振切方式。经试验知,在本文条件下以采用低粘度的2号主轴油为佳,如取较大的刀具振幅(A)与较低的切削速度(V),可使湿式超声振切时刀具寿命有明显的提高。本文还探讨了超声振切时,切削液通过动态润湿、泵吸与油楔等作用方式,对刀—屑、刀—工界面起到了显著的缓冲与减阻作用。
