制造铸型和型芯使用的盼醛树脂冷硬砂,常加入苯磺酸(C_6H_6SO_3H)作硬化剂。工业生产的苯磺酸为块状或膏状,根据TY6－14－25－75标准,苯磺酸含量≥91%、液态硫酸2．5~3．5%、苯≤0．1%、其余为水分(重量比)。贮存和运输常是经过浓缩的苯磺酸,使用前需加水或非水溶性溶剂稀释,以获得不同浓度的溶液。因为苯磷酸是强酸,直接加入砂中会腐蚀金属型装备,破坏其轮廓尺寸,降低使用寿命和可靠性,使模型粘模。
