有的画家由于现实主义被冷落而产生悲哀。这不是现实主义本身的问题,是社会发展的结果。不能用国外的标准来衡量中国文化。现代主义绘画在中国还处于萌动中,还远不能和西方相比。西方现代主义的发展如不看主要的历史收藏你不能看到它发展的脉络。现代主义发展的可能性西方也在考察。
Some painters are saddened by the neglect of realism. This is not a question of realism itself, it is the result of social development. Can not use foreign standards to measure Chinese culture. Modernist painting is still in its infancy in China and far from being comparable to the West. The development of Western modernism can not see the context of its development without looking at the major historical collections. The possibility of the development of modernism in the West is also under investigation.
