近年来,随着唐山经济的快速发展和旅游业的不断崛起,尤其是成功申办2016年世界园艺博览会以来,唐山与国内外其他地区的政治、经济和文化的交流不断深入,唐山民航业的发展也进入了一个全新的时期。虽然唐山三女河机场2010年才实现通航,但是客、货运输量快速增长。与此同时,唐山机场作为一个年轻的机场,还存在很多不足。
