According to official reports from India, the Tummalapalle uranium mine is located in the Kadapa area of the state. The latest exploration work shows that there are still a large number of unknown ore bodies still known to exist deep in the ore body. Reserves are likely to reach 150,000 t. As of now, India has about 175,000 t of uranium reserves. However, this additional resource is still unable to meet the demand of domestic nuclear power generation in India. class
