According to the “Zijixiezi [1998] No. 29” document of the Ministry of Communications of the People’s Republic of China on the preliminary design of the EDI Information Network for Transportation (Phase I), the Ministry of Construction is implementing the construction of EDI for transportation information to further promote the technological progress in the transportation industry. Among them, the transportation EDI information network, as one of the important components for the transportation production and management in the Jinjiao project, takes full account of the completed containers of “four in a row” (Shanghai, Tianjin, Qingdao, Ningbo Port and COSCO Group) Transport EDI demonstration project
