因应和谐可持续发展、文化强国而生的大春节观,意在发扬传统春节“尊重他人、实现自我、全民参与、社会和谐”的核心价值,凸显其原本模糊的生态、环保、安居等理念,将当下旁观型春节转型为培育新型公民的现代参与型春节。自信、开放的大春节观要求摒弃狭隘的文化保守主义和文化精英主义两种心态,强化政府服务意识,动员社会各界主动参与,融合东、西方不同节日文化的精华,城乡并重,从而使与时俱进的春节成为促进国家社会健康发展的通过仪礼。
