20世纪文论话语中的“真”的诉求值得在古今文论转型的议题中加以审视。本文以章太炎文论为中心个案,初步清理和辨析这位20世纪初第一代现代思想家在名实辨析、文学界说、沟通真俗和情文形容诸分际上的努力,感受其中对现代意义上“真”的诸种面相的诉求.理解其思想从古典向现代转换的矛盾性、混杂性和过渡性。至于其深层透视及其与后来思想的联系的阐释,有俟将来。
