韩国早期的经验似乎表明,中国有可能采取中庸之道——把一个强大和积极干预的政府同私营的、但不一定是自由的市场体系相结合。然而,韩国的危机表明,政府在一个市场经济中的失败可能会同它过去在传统的中央计划经济中的失败一样惨重。
Early experience in South Korea seems to indicate that it is possible for China to take the golden mean of combining a powerful and actively intervening government with a private but not necessarily free market system. However, the crisis in South Korea shows that the failure of a government in a market economy may be as severe as its past failures in the traditional centrally planned economy.
