《希普帕尔库斯》一直以来被视为柏拉图的伪作,所以很少受到关注。著名的乔伊特译本《柏拉图著作集》和汉密尔顿、凯恩斯主编本《柏拉图对话集》,都没有收入这一篇。在国内更是如此,直到今天,尚无一个汉译正式出版。但是,这篇对话确在忒拉绪洛斯编订的《柏拉图九卷集》中,来源久远。尤其对话讨论到的价值问题,很可能是对价值论最早的反思。因此,值得引起我们的注意。这里根据库柏主编、哈钦森副主编的《柏拉图全集》(尼古拉斯·D.史密斯英译)译出原文,并加评注,对这篇不太受重视的对话予以译介。
“Hipparpulcus” has long been regarded as a pseudo-Plato, so little attention. The famous Joyce translation Plato’s Works Collection and Hamilton, Keynes’s chief editor Ben Plato Dialogues, have no income of this one. Even more so at home, until today, no official Chinese translation has been published. However, this dialogue has indeed come a long way in the Plato IX book, compiled by Tirtulus. In particular, the question of value discussed in dialogue is probably the earliest reflection on the theory of value. Therefore, it deserves our attention. According to Cooper’s chief editor, Hutchinson’s associate editor of the “Complete Works of Plato” (Nicholas D. Smith English translation) translated the original text, and commentaries, to this less valued dialogue to be translated.
