“伪友”是受母语认知心理影响而产生的一种语言负迁移现象。《新牛津英汉双解大词典》(第2版)对“伪友”的处理存在不足,主要表现为:部分常见的“伪友”信息缺失,参见体例不统一,译义中存在“准伪友”情况,文化提示性不足,等等。从词典学的角度论述“伪友”处理的不足,有利于词典的修订以便更好地发挥双语词典的工具作用。
“False friend ” is a phenomenon of negative transfer of language caused by the cognitive psychology of mother tongue. The New Oxford English-Chinese Bi-lexicographic Dictionary (Version 2) has some deficiencies in dealing with “pseudo-friend”, mainly as follows: some common information of “pseudo-friend” is missing, There are “pseudo-pseudo-friend ” situation, lack of cultural tips, and so on. From the perspective of lexicology, it discusses the deficiency of “pseudo friend” processing, which is beneficial to the revision of lexicon in order to give full play to the role of bilingual lexicon.
