抓好农村卫生三项建设是搞好农村卫生工作的基础。近3年来,在市委、市政府的领导下,在全社会的关心和支持下,我市采取有效措施和倾斜政策,集中财力、物力,大力加强农村卫生三项建设,取得了一定成效。特别是在1994年6月,李鹏总理、朱镕基副总理对卫生工作重要批示的下达和全国农村卫生建设经验交流会、四川省农村卫生建设工作会议的召开,给我市农村卫生三项建设带来了新的契机,使我市农村卫生三项建设迈上新台阶。我市主要做了以下几项工作:

In the past three years, under the leadership of the municipal party committee and the municipal government and with the concern and support of the entire society, the city has adopted effective measures and tilting policies, concentrated financial resources and material resources, and vigorously strengthened the construction of rural sanitation and achieved certain results. In particular, in June 1994, Premier Li Peng and Vice Premier Zhu Rongji issued important instructions on health work, the National Rural Sanitation Construction Experience Exchange Conference, and the Sichuan Rural Health Construction Work Conference, which brought the three rural sanitation projects to the city. A new opportunity has brought the city’s rural sanitation to a new level. Our city has mainly done the following tasks:
