程伟礼先生的新作《信念的旅程——冯友兰传》,是一本以冯友兰学识和人格生长为对象,力图寻觅知识分子人生价值真谛的著作。写思想家的传记,最关键的是要写出思想家赖以生存和发展的社会和人文背景与思想家之间的相互关系。有鉴于此,全书以“早年的精神痕迹”和“信念的萌芽”为题.拉开了评述冯友兰思想的序幕。从士绅情感的由来、新旧兼备的早期教育以及不由自主的兴趣等几个层面,作者栩栩如生地描绘了世纪初一个青年学子眼中的世界。
Mr. Cheng Weili’s new book, “Journey of Faith - Biography of Feng Youlan,” is a book that takes Feng Youlan’s knowledge and personality growth as an object and seeks to find out the essence of the intellectual’s life value. The key to writing a biographer’s biography is to write about the interrelationship between the social and cultural background and the thinker on which the thinker lives and develop. In view of this, the book entitled “traces of early spiritual” and “germination of belief” opened the commentary on Feng Youlan’s prelude. From the origin of gentry emotion, early education of both old and new, and involuntary interest, the author vividly portrayed the world in the eyes of a young student of the early 20th century.
