This article describes the design and performance of a newly developed magnetic core memory. In this low-power, high-speed memory design, the use of two-dimensional program and the core part of the flip technology. This memory is characterized by the combined use of a current steering diode matrix and a load sharing magnetic switch to form an economical and high quality drive system. The memory has a storage capacity of 73,728 binary digits and reliably executes instruction repetitions up to 1.47 MHz. The article also describes: the structure of the memory, serial shunt delay line pulse distributor, control pulse and the measured performance.
