Basic Connotation of International Port Cities Up to now, there is no unified view on the exact definition of international port city. By referring to relevant information, we think that international port cities should belong to the category of international cities. International port cities should be economically and socially developed, with good urban comprehensive environment and high utilization of port resources. They should have complete facilities and a port-to-port industrial system , Export-oriented
