Recently, with the approval of the State Council, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission and the People’s Bank of China have officially promulgated the Interim Measures for the Administration of Overseas Use of Foreign Exchange Funds for Insurance (hereinafter referred to as the “Interim Measures”). This is yet another major move by CIRC and PBOC to actively implement the “Going Global” development strategy put forward by the CPC Central Committee. It will broaden the channel for capital utilization in China’s insurance industry and prevent the risk of capital utilization
