With the development of central nervous system imaging, cranial MRI is increasingly used in the diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction. Fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) has been used clinically for the first time since 1992. Because of its unique advantages, it has been used as a routine sequence in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of acute cerebral infarction .
