自现代借N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo概念车首秀旗下运动部门“N”之后,N部门加快步伐,在过去的一年中潜心研院,又一悍作RN30 Concept登陆巴黎车展。现代N部门在巴黎车展上发布的这款RN30概念车,基于量产版现代i30两厢掀背车打造。动力系统采用一台全新的2.0L排量缸内直喷涡轮增压发动机,该发动机内部曲轴连杆、凸轮轴等部件均采用重量更轻且强度更大的锻造技术代替之前的铸造技术。经过一系列的改造后,最高输出功率达到了380PS,峰值扭矩为451Nm。此外,N部门还为其匹配了全新的双离合变速器,采用全时四轮驱动,并采用电子限滑差速器。虽然车身部分取材于量产版的现代i30,但通过N部门与德国BASF巴斯夫的合作,采用由巴斯夫提供的渗碳塑料替代原车部件,不仅大幅度降低重量,
