2004年底英国《艺术评论》杂志像往年一样评出了100位国际艺术界的权势人物。“权势”这个词多少有些 刺目,实际上它的真正含义是对当今艺术界有较大的直接影响力,这种影响力主要体现在看得见的舞台上--展 览、新闻和出版、艺术市场等等。《艺术评论》杂志的年度排名在国际艺术界是最具权威性的一个,是一些艺术批 评家,专家学者激烈讨论的结果。但这个排名不具有世界性,它很大程度上体现了西方,特别是英美的视角,不 过,关注一下这个排名对我们了解西方当今艺术状况会有很强的提示作用。为此我们编译了一组专稿,其中包括: 《100位权势人物简介》,《权势人物的单项前十名》,《蛇与梯子》--这个排名的组织者对权势问题的认识,《对于 权势问题的各方评论》以及《未来的趋势》--英国著名当代艺术史家这次排名的评选者爱德华-卢西·史密斯 的评论专稿。
At the end of 2004, the British “Art Review” magazine, as in previous years, commented on the power of 100 international artists. In fact, its real meaning is that it has a greater direct influence on the art world today, and its influence is mainly reflected on the visible stage - exhibition, press and publication , Art market and more. The annual ranking of Art Review magazine is the most authoritative one in the international art world and the result of heated discussion among some art critics and experts and scholars.
