岩画的年代判定问题长久以来一直是困扰岩画学术界的一大难题。本文选择了近几年在新疆天山东部巴里坤地区八墙子岩画群的一批典型岩画,运用考古地层学和类型学的方式,通过对其所表现的整体艺术风格、凿刻方法、凿刻工具、岩晒深浅的判断,再加上文献记载的佐证,将其进行分组、分期讨论。力图说明东天山地区岩画年代大致可以分为史前、汉晋、隋唐三个大的时期。从而为东天山地区岩画绝对年代问题的解决提供突破口。
The dating of rock paintings has long been a major problem that troubles rock art academia. In this paper, we select a group of typical petroglyphs of the eight-wall sub-rock group in the Balikun area in the east of Tianshan Mountains of Xinjiang in recent years. By means of archeological stratigraphy and typology, through the overall artistic style, chisel method, Engraving tools, rock shades of judgment, coupled with corroboration documented in the literature, will be grouped, staged discussion. Trying hard to explain the East Tianshan Rock Art era can be roughly divided into prehistoric, Han Jin, Sui and Tang three big period. Thus providing a breakthrough for the solution of the absolute dating of rock paintings in the East Tianshan Mountains.
