现在,也许没有人会对中国为什么要主办亚运会提出多少质疑。然而,近来屡见报道为亚运会工程缺乏资金呼吁,主办者亦慨叹亚运会集资困难。此举使人联想颇多。有一则报道说:截止去年10月21日,国内个人为亚运会捐款共计69517.82元。其中有位老艺术家一个人捐款就达10000元。这则报道还列举了汉城奥运会南朝鲜得个人捐款2573万美元。这两个数字虽然无法表示我们和南朝鲜经济发展水平的差距,但它至少可以从一个侧面反映南朝鲜和我国个人生活水平的差异。
