我国的成人高等教育,在党的十一届三中全会以后,获得了迅猛的发展。各种成人高等教育形态和机构,如雨后春笋竞相出现。其中尤以广播电视大学、高等教育自学考试和各类高等函授教育发展得最快。仅广播电视大学在近十一年内,就为国家输送了全科毕业生118万余人,培训了各类非学历教育的结业生达200多万人。据有关资料统计,近两三年内,我国各类成人高等教育机构每年颁发的毕业证书已达170多万张。这些毕业生和结业生,在我国社会主义各条战线,发挥了重要作用,为国家和人民做出了积极的贡献。
China’s adult higher education has enjoyed rapid development since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee. A variety of adult forms and institutions of higher education, springing up after another. Especially radio and television universities, higher education self-study exams and all kinds of higher correspondence education developed the fastest. Only in the past 11 years, the Radio and Television University has delivered more than 1.18 million full-time graduates to the country and trained more than 2 million graduates of various non-diploma education. According to statistics, in the past two or three years, more than 1.7 million diplomas have been issued each year by various adult institutions of higher education in our country. These graduates and graduates have played an important role in all fields of our socialism and have made positive contributions to the country and the people.
