指示:各市人民政府、各专署、工农速成中学接中央人民政府高等教育部(54)厅秘崔字第一四○号及中央人民政府教育部(54)速中董字第一三八号给教育部门的联合指示:一九五四年全国工农速成中学共招新生三万名,相当于全国现有在校毕生的总数,这是一项十分艰巨的政治任务和组织任务。目前我省工农速成中学共有学生一、○三三名,暑期毕业九个班,学生三三五名,今年暑期又将招收新生六百名,暑期后,学生将达一、二九八名,发展百分之二十五点六五。为了保证完成此项招生计划,并进一步提高新生质量,特就一九五四年工农速成中学的招生工作作如下指示:一、工农中学是为了培养工农出身的新型的技术专家和各类领导骨干,它要在三年之内授完初中和高中的基本课程,为直接升入高等学校打好基础。因此,今年招生时除应尽可能地多招收产业工人,特别是劳动模范入学外,在招收革命军人和国家工作人员时,应首先吸收有多年革命锻炼的,负有一定领导责任的工农干部入学。但优秀的警卫员、通讯员、勤务员亦应根据条件适当吸收。各地在选送审查时,必须坚决克服本位主义思想,从国家的长远利益出发,切实掌握一九五四年工农速成中学入学条件的规定,将品质优秀、身体健康、有相当于高小毕业文
