河北省石家庄工农速成中学在开展先进工作者运动以前,正常的工作秩序沒有很好地建立起来,会議多、非教学活动多,教师很忙乱。教师备課、批改作業和業余进修都没有充分时間,有些教师因为批改作業、备課,往往要工作到深夜。那时,学校領导和群众的关系也不够密切,群众的积極性不能發揮。自1953年超該校曾几次表揚一些工作比较好的教师,但大多是青年教师,对一般老年教师注意不够。受表揚的少数先进分子在群众中、特别是在老教师中,威信并不高。一些教龄長、年岁较大、教学經驗比较丰富的教师,口头上虽不講,心里总有些不大服气,有的人工作积極性不高,工作上一有了困难,便不安心工作。教师与教师之間也不够团結。教历史課的教师們
