自一九八○年全国第一届碳酸盐岩学术会议以来,广大会员迫切要求学会组织海南—西沙现代珊瑚礁及碳酸盐沉积的科学考察活动。用“将今议古”的现实主义方法,深入了解和研究现代碳酸盐的沉积作用、成岩机理、白云化作用和不同沉积环境下的沉积特征.将我国地质时代中的碳酸盐岩及其沉积相的研究推向一个新的发展阶段。中国矿物岩石地球化学学会,沉积学会大力支持并批准了这一倡议,经过有关同志长期细致的准备,在中国人民解放军、海南行政公署等部门的大力支持下,由教育部,科学院,石油部,地质矿产部、冶金部及煤炭工业部等有关26个单位28名正式代表组成的科学考察团于1983年4
Since 1980, the first national carbonate academic conference, the majority of members urgently asked to learn to organize Hainan - Xisha modern coral reefs and carbonate sedimentary scientific investigation activities. In this paper, we use the realism method of “present this ancient” to deeply understand and study the depositional function, diagenesis mechanism, dolomitization and sedimentary characteristics of different sedimentary environments of modern carbonate.Carbonate and Its sedimentary facies research to a new stage of development. The Chinese Society for Mineral Geochemistry and Sediment Society strongly supported and approved this initiative.
