当1933年芝加哥世博会第一次把汽车装配线完整呈现于世人面前,几乎所有参观者都预感到,一种全新的生活方式近在咫尺。汽车、电灯、电话、照相技术……甚至蛋卷冰淇淋,都是从亮相世博会这场人类科技和创新的盛宴开始,随后大规模地走进我们的生活。从最初展览新的发明创造,到如今世界大家庭的成员利用这一平台,共同思索探讨人类发展面临的共同困境和普适话题,世博会都是我们借以窥见未来的“水晶球”。我们也相信,透过2010上海世博会,或许同样可以管窥我们未来生活的某些片段和样貌。鉴于此,《中国新闻周刊》记者从上海世博会带回最新报道,将那里正在展示的科技与理念,拼贴成未来的图景。或许,有一天我们睁开睡眼,这篇报道呈现的故事便在我们的生活中一一呈现。这个“未来”也许是10年,也许20年……而有些科技与理念,现在已经在生活中得以实现。既然世博会是一场奇思妙想的盛会,我们也愿意为读者奉献一篇非传统的另类报道,让虚拟的主人公去体验一下这座“幻想之城”中可能的生活。我们就叫他“海宝”好了。
When the World Expo in Chicago in 1933 presented the automobile assembly line to the world for the first time, almost all visitors were foreseeable that a brand-new lifestyle was close at hand. Cars, lights, telephones, camera technology, and even ice cream cones began with the feast of human technology and innovation at Expo Shanghai, and then entered our lives on a large scale. From the initial exhibition of new inventions and creations to the use of this platform by members of the world’s big family today, they have jointly considered the common dilemmas and universal topics facing human development. The Expo is the “crystal ball” through which we can see the future. We also believe that through the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, we may also be able to take a look at some of the fragments and looks of our future lives. In view of this, the “China News Weekly” reporter brought back the latest report from the Shanghai World Expo, and collaged the technology and ideas that are being displayed there into the future landscape. Perhaps one day we will sleep, and the stories presented in this report will be presented in our lives one by one. This “future” may be 10 years, maybe 20 years ... and some of the technologies and ideas that have now been realized in life. Since the World Expo is a fantastic event, we are also willing to offer a non-traditional alternative story to our readers. Let the virtual protagonist experience the possible life in this “fantasy city”. We call him “Haibao” well.
