本文从地球物理场、地震活动、地形变、水热活动、现今应力场等方面,应用历史地震记载、现代地震仪器记录、温泉调查以及微震台网监测、地应力测量、地形变测量、有限元数学计算等资料,采用分别论证综合研究的方法,以较为丰富的定量、半定量数据分析探讨了广东莲花山断裂带的现今活动特征和未来发展趋势,为广东省东部地区及其沿海城市的经济建设规划、地壳稳定性评价提供了重要依据。
