我队在茫崖石棉矿层进行钻探施工，为保证岩矿心采取率，采用隔水单动双管钻具，效果较好。由于这种钻具价格高而且不易买到，我队准备自制，但难度大，如加工外管接头需用26kg重的圆钢一段，加工为成品时只剩7kg重，锻造与车削工人劳动强度都很大，效率又低。而且外管接头（图1）上的两段，丝扣很容易磨损，经补焊车扣修复，只用两三个回次，又被损坏。
