不久前,国内多家新闻媒体先后刊登了中国海军新型医院船的摄影图片,从而证实中国新一代医院船已经建造完成并即将交付中国海军。这一消息在国外军界引起的反响明显比在国内更大,显然是由于许多海外军事观察员相当重视这一新闻所蕴含的更多信息。有国外军事评论甚至将其与中国军队所面对的国际及地区军事形势、乃至中国海军未来的军事战略联想在一起,足见这一信息有相当大的冲击力。中国对海军医院船的研究并非始于今日,而是已有近30年的历程,那么一艘新型医院船何以会引起国外军事观察员如此的关注呢?
Not long ago, many domestic news media published photographic pictures of new Chinese Navy hospital ships, which confirmed that China’s new generation of hospital ships have been completed and are about to be delivered to the Chinese Navy. The repercussions caused by this news message in the military circles abroad are clearly greater than in the interior of the country, apparently due to the fact that many overseas military observers attach much importance to the information contained in this news. The fact that there are foreign military reviews even bringing them together with the international and regional military situations the Chinese armed forces face and even the future military strategy of the Navy in China shows that this message has considerable impact. China’s research on naval hospital ships did not start today, but nearly 30 years ago. So why a new type of hospital ship would attract the attention of military observers abroad?
