在五届人大二次会议胜利召开的大喜日子里,湖南省地质学会矿山地质学组,于1979年6月22日,在湘潭锰矿首次举办了学术报告会。省冶金、煤炭、化工、二机、建材系统所属矿山以及科研、设计、大中院校等50个单位,137名代表参加了会议。会议历时4天。会议宗旨是:介绍地质研究成果,交流工作经验,把矿山地质的实践和理论提高到一个新的水平,
In the great victory day of the Second Session of the Fifth National People’s Congress, the Geological Society of Hunan Province Geological Society, on June 22, 1979, the first held in Xiangtan manganese ore academic report.
