华中农学院副教授詹重慈研究的尿素浸种培育水稻壮秧,平均每亩投资不到1分钱,就可增产水稻30斤。作法是:播种前进行晒种,精选,消毒。将精选、消毒处理过的种子浸在250ppm(100斤水兑1.25克尿素)浓度的尿素溶液中。早稻浸泡72小时,晚稻浸泡48小时。浸种水层高出种子2寸左右为宜。每天必须更换浸种溶液,以免发酵。浸种后再进行催芽、播种。
