Since 2001, when the State Administration of Taxation successfully applied for the “12366” public service number and 12366 became the unified special service telephone in China’s taxation system, the national taxation system has been built up with the national-level 12366 tax service center as the lead and the provincial tax service centers effectively supporting Hotline consulting work pattern has played an important role in helping taxpayers correctly understand and comply with the tax law and express their tax-related appeals.
