《仙授理伤续断秘方》一书相传为唐代蔺道人所作．因该书精确地论述了骨折的诊治原则和方法，故后世医家对于骨折的诊治方法皆源于此。该书在骨科方面的主要学术成就和价值为：确立了骨折治疗总的原则和方法；初步确定了骨折的诊断方法；创立了骨折整算最重要的手法，即拔伸与捺正；创立了骨折的内外用药原则、方法和宜忌；创立了小夹板外固定方法和原则及首倡功能锻炼等方面。该书无论是学术观点还是方药，直到今天还具有重要的现实价值。
The book “Lessons of Injuries and Diminishing Secrets” was handed down to the Tang Dynasty martyr. Because the book accurately discusses the principle and method of diagnosis and treatment of fractures, the methods of diagnosis and treatment of fractures in later generations of doctors are all derived from this. The book’s main academic achievements and values in orthopaedics are: establishing the principles and methods for the treatment of fractures; preliminarily determining the diagnosis methods for fractures; creating the most important methods for fracture calculation, namely stretching and rectifying; and establishing Internal and external principles, methods and taboos of fractures; the establishment of a small splint external fixation methods and principles and the first exercise of functional exercise. The book, whether academic or prescription, has important practical value today.
