We have to recognize that these 20 years of development way for China’s internet was C2C （Copy to China）， that is to say we move the modes used in America to China. At the beginning of starting business， we always adopted some popular modes in America， we didn’t deny this even though we had the IPO： we are the so-and-so of China. The most exaggerated is the listing of Renren， they called themselves the “Facebook+Zynga+Groupon+Linkedin” of China， using four modes.
The logic behind C2C
The primary cause of C2C is venture investment.
The development way of China’s internet business： begin with some concept from America→attract venture investment all the way→listing in the US capital market and sell to the American investors with this concept. There may be an exception or a variate in this development， which means the project is original from China， without mirror edition in America. This condition indeed exists， as Douban， but very rare. Therefore Douban might be the only famous original project.
Globalization
However， C2C doesn’t mean simply copy the modes from America to China. The innovation of localization is needed. The word Globalization is a new word of recent years， which joins the words Global and localization together， and is called “Global Localization”. The word shows that the concepts are globalized， and the operations are localized.
Continue to deepen C2C
In the year of 2013 and 2014， there were two examples of American teachers coming over to China for development. Evernote came in 2013， and Linkedin came in 2014. They learned the lessons of their seniors， and set up companies with considerable independent authorities in China instead of embranchment in China， which made their companies connected closely with global localization. However， our Chinese also created more and more Chinese local concepts， such as the “Internet Finance”. The word doesn’t exist in America. The hottest taking taxi software in China also has the totally different development way from the Uber of America. The vigorous C2C+Globalization is speeding up on its way.
