2010年4月14日青海玉树发生7.1级地震后,青海省粮食局第一时间向国家粮食局电话报告有关灾情及工作开展情况,安排部署粮食应急工作,主要采取了以下几项措施:一是紧急启动省级粮食应急预案。地震发生后,按照《青海省粮食应急预案》和全省应急管理工作的要求,省粮食局迅速成立了抗震救灾粮食应急供应领导小组,安排启动应急粮源筹措、粮食调拨运输、军粮供应等工作。
