The 2nd National Symposium on Microstructures and Structures, chaired by the Professional Committee of Microstructures and Structures of Tectonic Geology Commission of China Geological Society of China, was held in Guilin in mid-November 1984. A total of 126 delegates attended the conference and 128 papers were submitted. After the meeting also organized a geological survey and geological travel. The conference is divided into microstructures and tectonics of faulted faults and fault rocks, and two special groups of microstructures and tectonics of other structures.
