The successful development of the high pressure titanium-stainless steel explosion compound transition joint has made the connection of two kinds of metals, which can not be welded by melting, become the welding of the same kind of metal, which solves the very difficult problem for engineering application. The results of metallographic examination, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and mechanical properties test show that the interface of high pressure resistant explosive composite joint is solid-state metallurgical bonding. After optimizing the explosive composite process, there is no obvious intermetallic compound formation at the interface of the joint, Compared with the original process, the number of dislocations in stainless steel is obviously reduced, the plasticity and toughness of the material is improved, the interface strength can reach more than 300 MPa, the pressure can withstand 30 MPa at room temperature, and the hydraulic pressure of 70 MPa No leakage test no deformation.
